Chaps is made from the finest South American bull hides and perfected by Italian leather technicians to create this soft leather. The leather is aniline dyed, the surface is embossed, buffed, and brushed with fine brushes that turn the top grain into this fine velvet like product. The leather is tumbled to bring out the suede like effect even more and to maximize the softness of the leather. Soft, warm, and natural describe this aniline leather the best.
For cleaning leather should be vacuumed with a clean, soft bristle attachment. Use a suede brush or slightly damp nylon sponge to clean and straighten the fine pile when necessary. Spilled liquids should be removed immediately by dabbing with a clean cloth (do not rub).
Nubuk leather cleaners may be used according to the manufacturer's instructions after first testing in an inconspicuous place.
